A Recovery Coach is a trained professional who helps individuals navigate and sustain recovery from addiction, mental health challenges, or life disruptions without providing therapy or clinical treatment. Think of them as a supportive guide, mentor, and accountability partner.
Absolutely. Many of our students charge $100–$250/hr for coaching sessions. With just a few clients, you can recoup your investment and begin building a full- or part-time practice that makes a real difference and provides real income.
Yes. Many treatment professionals use this program to deepen their understanding of narcissistic abuse and expand their skillset beyond clinical models. It also opens doors for private coaching, speaking, or consulting opportunities outside of traditional systems.
While all three roles offer support, they serve different purposes. A therapist focuses on clinical treatment, often exploring past trauma and diagnosing mental health conditions. A sponsor typically guides someone through a 12-step program as a peer who’s also in recovery.
A Recovery Coach, on the other hand, helps clients focus on the present and future. They provide structure, accountability, and real-life strategies to build a sustainable, purpose-driven life in recovery.
Many people choose a Recovery Coach when they want:
Support outside of traditional therapy or 12-step models
- Help creating goals around career, relationships, or health
- Flexible, non-clinical guidance with clear action steps
- A neutral, professional partner who respects their unique path
Recovery Coaches fill the gap between treatment and independence—empowering clients to move forward with confidence.
